I particularly love your image of the lion sitting under the fountain. It's like his secret place.
When I lived in France, there was an enormous fountain at the Rotunde de Cours Mirabeau. Every day after class I'd walk there and just stand and listen to it mask the sounds of traffic and people, then walk back to my apartment. It completely replenished my soul.
Excellent text and photographs! It is a topic I really enjoy, visually quite different than the ones here, perhaps I need to start again! Really lovely, thank you!
Beautiful,Jeff, and so true. Fountains slow us down and invite us to pause, to reflect. The face of the fountain in the first photo is wonderful, comic and charming.

beautiful writing
Thank you, Tammy!
Excellent subject, the first photo with the maiden hair ferns around it is exceptional. Great depth of field, you can almost feel the moisture.
Thanks, Gary! Hope all is well with you!
